This set of 4 neutrals gives is a good base for your wool thread collection. You can do a lot with it!

Wonderfil designed this thread with hand wool appliqué in mind. Ellana™ is a 28wt, 2-ply, 50/50 Merino wool/acrylic blend. The wool provides a rich colour palette and soft loft, while the acrylic gives the thread strength. It blends smoothly into the edges of wool applique shapes, resulting an almost invisible whipstitch.

Ellana™ is fray resistant and contains significantly less fuzz. Its soft loft is lovely when used for hand embroidery. I have not tried it, but I have heard from reliable sources that this thread can be used in your sewing machine for embroidery and machine quilting.

Each spool holds 70 yards of thread. The thread colors in this set are 27, 29, 30, & 50.
